In 1969 I started working on boats in Edgartown Harbor. I expanded the business and was running 7 locations at one point. We were one of the largest action sports retailers in the country and the country's oldest and largest Windsurfing specialty retailer. We carried clothing, accessories, bicycles, snowboards, surfboards and ran several seasonal schools. In 2007 I sold Island Sports. It still runs today as Newport Surf and Sport.

In 2008 I started renting out our families summer home. I was one of the first owners to list on VRBO (Vacation Rental By Owner). In 2017 I started to use a customized property management system to manage the Captain Morse House. I now offer that management program to other owners.

I am also the General Manager of a closely held partnership which owns real estate and investments. I have long experience in improving properties and placing them into the long and short term rental markets.

I am also a licensed Real Estate Associate and software and management consultant.
